Philip A. Holloway is a founding partner of Leonard, Rickman & Holloway P.C. and manages the Personal Injury / Litigation section of the firm. Mr. Holloway is an aggressive, experienced trial litigator and has successfully handled thousands of cases. He also enjoys an impressive record of winning jury verdicts. In addition to managing the firm's Personal Injury section, he appears regularly in the various courts of the State of Georgia representing clients in a wide variety of cases including Juvenile Law, Police Law (including police brutality), Military Law, DUI Defense, and Criminal Defense.
A native Georgian, former police instructor and certified flight instructor, Mr. Holloway began his distinguished legal career when he graduated summa cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 1996 where he served on the Law Review and the Varsity Mock Trial team. He went on to serve as an officer and Judge Advocate in the United States Navy. While on active duty, then Lieutenant Holloway graduated with distinction from the Naval Justice School's sixteen week advanced trial advocacy course and earned certification as trial and defense counsel. Mr. Holloway has also served as Assistant District Attorney, President of the Cobb County Bar Association Criminal Law Section, and has taught in the field of constitutional law as adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at nearby Kennesaw State University.
Mr. Holloway believes that there is absolutely no client in need that he cannot help. He also feels that clients should have easy access to their attorney and is always willing to make himself personally available to his clients. Evening and weekend appointments are available by prior arrangement.
Richard N. Blevins, Jr. is the firm's Senior Litigation Attorney. He has successfully handled thousands of cases including hundreds of personal injury claims and has enjoyed great success litigating in Georgia courts. Mr. Blevins has worked hard to earn a reputation for being aggressive and thorough in representing his clients.
Richard is a former Cobb County Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Solicitor General. He is a part-time criminal justice instructor at Chattahochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated third in his class at the DeKalb County Police Academy and achieved an intermediate certification from Georgia's Peace Officer Standards & Training Council. He was a former Detective with the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, a former Police Officer with the Milledgeville Police Department and the DeKalb County Police Department. He also is veteran of the United States Army where he was a soldier in the Military Police Corps stationed overseas.
